FoBs LogoQ. How busy does the square become in summer? I'm
assuming parking becomes difficult, but do the
day-trippers stray into the communal area, cause
noise, leave much rubbish behind?
A. not that we noticed, parking is well controlled now a days.

Q Does anyone know of any major renovations taking
place that may disturb the peace for a prolonged
period of time.

A. none have been reported!

Q. I've seen lots of stuff regarding the outcome of
the old west pier, seemingly unresolved, but is anyone
aware of any planning permission that may obstruct our
wonderful sea views?

A.Views depend on where yu live, but look into the west pier trust for that information.

Q. When I mentioned to a friend I was thinking of
buying in Bedford Square,
the first thing they said
was 'Drugs, prostitutes, alcholics'! <snip> I'm curious to find out if the
local residents find this a problem or is it just an
urban myth to keep us london folk away?? ;-)
A. Urban Myth?Perhaps. yes, the square has improved so much in recent years and as for the Drugs and prostitues, we dont see any. Alchol? meet us in the pub for a drinkand we will tell you all about it!

Q. Seems to be quite a few B&B's in the square, what
sort of clientele?

A. there is now just one b&b officially The Miami Hotel that houses students. There is also the MSA
they provide student accomodation within the square

Q. How many people currently in the residents
association, and what sort of issues do they address?
A. There is lots, every resident is entitled to join and we talk about lots. See our newsletters or what we have achieved

lovely square except although a lot of dogs on the square with owners who pretend to be busy texting when there dogs are having a ..... we know who you are..... however this hopefully will change as the council are really cracking down on this soon and dog owners might take note of the signs on the gates which clearly indicate no dogs allowed... After all there is a dog friendly beach just seconds away

How about offering them a bag and watch them go red.
Search the site for dog to get more council failures in the square
