Bicycles
These have been tagged for removal by the council. If you have a bike attatched to the park railings, please check if it is considered for disposal. If you attatch a bike to house railings, consider that it does not fall over and cause a danger.
Rubbish
Once again with the influx of new residents, it seems some people are unaware of the correct methods for waste.
-Non recyclable stuff goes in the big bins, not on the pavement or hanging from the railings.
-Recycling goes in the black boxes on Wednesdays
Anybody dumping rubbish will be reported.

Resident question - leases
I am wondering if anyone who is a leaseholder of a flat in Bedford
Square has recently renewed their lease as I am wanting to do this. I
am interested in any tips, pitfalls and what sort of costs to expect.
Maybe this request could be put in the FOBS e.letter?
Many Thanks

victim of crime?
Do you want to come to a Save our Streets debate in Brighton on September 30 2PM. Admission is free and open to all but on a ticket basis.
We are looking for people from the community to discuss their concerns about violent crime. I wonder if you would like to attend or can recommend anyone who has been a victim of violent crime in Brighton or Sussex.
(Liam - I have some tickets, please let me know if you waish to come )
I would be most grateful if you could email or call me to let me know if you would like to be involved or can suggest anyone that may wish to come along.
Yours sincerely,
Justine Smith
Brighton pub ordered to stop outside smokers
A pub has been ordered to bring smokers back inside to stop noise nuisance.
The Lion and Lobster, in Sillwood Street, Brighton, has been sending people to the pavement outside to smoke after 11pm since a ban was put on late-night use of a roof terrace in the middle of the building last August.
