Next time you have a BBQ then please make sure its either on a stand, or bricks to prevent grass burning. Also cover it with water when finished to put out the flames and embers.

There has been a recent increase in the un acceptable behaviour within the square. This includes people who have been congregating on the benches and urinating in the bushes.
We have been informed of where these people are coming from but will not disclose it unless we have definate proof.
However if you spot anything then please inform the police immediately.

A pub has been ordered to bring smokers back inside to stop noise nuisance.

The Lion and Lobster, in Sillwood Street, Brighton, has been sending people to the pavement outside to smoke after 11pm since a ban was put on late-night use of a roof terrace in the middle of the building last August.
